2018-2109 Detention for Villains
Another wonderful performance by our students. Following the performance, students were able to answer questions posed by parents. It was an eye opening and reflective time, as bullying, identity, peer pressure and other topics were brought up by our students. Thank you parents, Brooklyn Youth Company and the staff at P.S. 276 for continuing to support Performing Arts enrichment at.
For the 2018-2019 School Year, the foundation partnered again with Brooklyn Youth Company (Director Erin McCready) to implement a theatre program for 4th and 5th grade students at P.S. 276 in Brooklyn.
Students had an opportunity to see the musical Wicked, presenting their own show on Friday, May 30th @ 5:30 PM.
Thank you to our many donors!
2017-2018 Twisted Fairy Tales
What a wonderful performance by our children. During their dress rehearsal 'talk back' with parents, they shared how much they learned from seeing SpongeBob on Broadway, visiting the National Geographic Ocean Odyssey, the pleasure of participating in the AfterSchool program everyday with friends, and pursuing their dreams.
For the 2017-2018 School Year, the foundation partnered with Brooklyn Youth Company (Director Erin McCready) to implement a theatre program for 4th and 5th grade students at P.S. 276 in Brooklyn.
It was an opportunity to work with an already established program that has been successfully working with learners.
The learning of students was enriched with hands on tasks, teaching artists, the theatre community and parent involvement.
Students had an opportunity to see the musical Sponge Bob and present their own show in March 28th @ 7 PM and March 29th during the day for the school.
This was all possible because of our many donors.
